craftyhunnypie
Hi everyone! I'm back! Had a great time in Honfleur (Normandy) France. I have a Room sky high in Booze & French goodies, so who is coming over for a party?? he he Weather was very nice & warm, 23 degrees on Sunday. Beautiful. Did I miss much whilst away? Can anyone sum up all the posts & gossip in a little nutshell for me? What's the latest topic or discussion, to save me time sifting though all the posts! Well I had a great birthday, slightly unusual as I started off in France, then at sea & ended it in England! When I got home the chooks were all shut in - let them all out this morning & had an egg off Rita (gingernut oldie).....and........................... A beautiful pure white egg of Smartie the Leghorn newbie!!!!!!!! Her comb is huge & flops like a bonnet now, I can't believe it & aparently my chicken sitter has had 2 other eggs off her. I knew she would come into lay whilst I was away!!!! What a darling!!!!!! I shall take some photos tomorrow as I'm off out to my parents now, to deliver their goodies!!!! Bye for now Emma.x
Cate in NZ
Good to see you back Emma, and I'm glad that you had a great holiday and belated birthday wishes from me Not sure that you've missed much, lots of general chatter, but if there was anything important or exciting I missed it too . There are several threads devoted to the rugby though Come on England

craftyhunnypie
Thanks everyone! I thought of one or two of you when we drove back from Portsmouth last night - Saw the turning of the motorway for Banbury..Now who was it that lives there...is it Claret?? I did think about calling in at Omlet & picking up a few eglus & pepperpots, but I'm afraid there wasn't room in the car with all the wine etc. Tension was high in France when England were playing France!!! he he I think we will win it again!
