Rona
I'm sorry, that is a real shame. Is there nothing you can do to sort out the things you don't like about your current job? Alternatively, one way to minimize the disappointment is to have several irons in the fire at the same time. Are there any other opportunities out there that you fancy? Couperman
I am dissapointed because it was a great opportunity to gain some different experience and take a couple of steps up the old career ladder. I guess they felt I just didn't have enough relevant experience. There are still plenty of other opportunities out there! And if we get some more work in where I am at the moment that would be enough to drag me out of my apathy bubble. Anyway today could have been much worse.........see my other thread! Kev. Richard
very sorry to hear you didn't get the job; I've been there and its not nice. Mind you, have you thought about going into the electrical trade ...? sorry - couldn't resist! Best of luck with any future job interviews. I remember going for one interview which went so badly I got up in a lull and headed for the door. The head of the guys interviewing me (there were three - Mr Nasty, Mr Nasty 2 and Mrs even more nasty) said - sit down, we haven't finished with you yet! When I got out I was just out of it and so glad to escape. the interview was for a job linked to the Lord Chancellor's office (the job was nowhere near as high powered as that makes it sound) and although they showed me up to the interview room on the fourth floor, when they chucked me out I had to find my own way down and out of the building! Anyway, a mate of mine did get the job - and left after a couple or so years 'cos he said it wasn't up to much. So, maybe if you didn't get your job, that's whats meant to be and it may well be all for the best.
