Couperman
I went for an interview two weeks ago. I thought it went OK and as interviews go it was tough! And I have had a lot of them. Anyway I thought I had blown it by being too honest! The position I was most interested in was for a client of the firm that interviewed me and they said they had had 'better' candidates than me turned down already. I got an email today saying that the said Client would like to see me for interview too! This job is on my doorstep, and I know I can do it! Wish me luck please eveyone! Kev. Couperman
Thanks everyone, I know I am up to the job, I just struggle with telling people how good I am. The place I am at now know what I'm worth but take me for granted a touch. Modesty is a virtue and I have too much of it (not a bad thing in my book) I have been known to make the odd mistake too! No-one died though If I get the contract I will feel guilty leaving the present gang in the mire. But, sellers market and all that. I must start to recognise that I actually am self employed and owe no loyalty to anyone other than me and Cathy. I will let you know how I do. Kev. Lesley
I must start to recognise that I actually am self employed and owe no loyalty to anyone other than me and Cathy. I have that problem as well Kev and it's odd when you start to think about it - I hope you do get the new position.
Couperman
Got a call from my agent this morning................. I didn't get the job. Three weeks of anticipation, two interviews and a bitter disappointment I am a bit miffed at the mo. I thought the interviews went well enough. Oh well, it looks like I will have to stay in my cosy little rut for a while longer! Thanks for the encouragement anyway. Kev.
Snowy
Sorry to hear that Kev But their loss eh! Have you asked for feedback from the interviews? That is often worthwhile to help you to see if you could have done anything better. I'm sure the right job to get you out of your rut is just around the corner
