Warm boot recommendations please

Does anyone make there own peck blocks?? Does anyone have any recipes to make one?

I used to make them but haven't for a while.

Here is what I used to make

Layers pellets

Mixed corn

Grit

Raisins

Dried mealworms

Sunflower seeds

 

Mix 1 egg, 2 heaped dsp flour, dash water, dash of honey

Add the dry ingredients and stir, roll into a sausage on some foil, insert a stick and bake at 120 degrees for 50 mins.

 

You might want to change some of the ingredients though as there are different views on mealworms these days because of how they are raised.

I don't seem to have the quantities though, but if I remember you kind of mix it into a stiff, roll-able consistency.
