Wh hens
Hi everyone I was putting some bedding in the nest box of my eglu and like always my legbar goes into the coop and scraped the bedding onto the perches what do I do to keep the bedding in the nest box as when there is no bedding the nest box gets covered in poo which makes the eggs dirty. Many thanks Will
mullethunter
Which Eglu do you have? (Sorry I’m sure you’ve said before but I’ve forgotten)
Cat tails
I think a Go. You could try different bedding. Mine still dig around in it too, but I now use wood chips (the small sized) and those will stay in the nesting box for the most part.

I have had this before and it smells beautiful. It's meant to be good at repelling flies. I imagine it would compost fine. What about if you put a deeper layer in the nest box. Luvachicken
She obviously sounds like a digger, not really sure what else to suggest. Does she dig in there all the time or just when she is laying an egg?
