Mrs Frugal Posted January 22, 2006 Author Share Posted January 22, 2006 I think they did a magnificent job trying to save the poor whale and it's just so tragic that it ended the way it did but it was probably dying anyway, poor thing. I feel desperately sorry for the rescuers who made such a fantastic effort but looking on the bright side, they've learned so much which they can use if it should happen again. Just so sad that it wasn't enough. For once I agree with Graham. I couldn't read the articles in the newspaper this morning as it upset me too much At least the rescuers tried all they could to help him. Apparently their vehicles had "Marine Ambulance" on the side of them, but the traffic wardens still went ahead and booked them.
