Got a feeling it was Sheffield or Derby area but my 'history of sport' module at university was so long ago now that i can't remember!

If you can't find out on the net PM me and i'll look through an old text book for you - i know its in there somewhere!

There used to be one at Atherstone - 'The Ball Game' when I was at -ahem - grammar school there. No idea if they still do it. We all used to get the afternoon off - I think it was around Easter - was it Shrove Tuesday?

This is the same one that I was thinking of - it's quite famous
