BeckyBoo
that'll be nice in a few weeks then! Mrs Bertie fried on a lightly toasted, heavily buttered muffin with lots of salt and black pepper, that would be my choice

Treekeeper
Forgot to give credit to Fang (a miss Pepperpot) named because when we first got the Eglu I managed to cut my hand open on the eggport door and told the kids a hen bit me!!! They immediately responded by naming her Fang!

chickweed
Our first egg was rubbish. I tried poaching it the old fashioned way in salted water. The white was so watery it dissolved away to nothing and all that was left was a tiny yolk that tasted of nothing. I'm sure your first egg will be FABULOUS
Treekeeper
Well I had to have it fried and quickly 'cause I showed it to the other half who promptly dropped it on the hard kitchen floor !!!!!
