Blackrocksrock
On the for sale and wanted boards there is never a follow up and it would be nice if when the eglu/cube was sold that the subject line was amended to show NOW SOLD OR NOW RECEIVED it will save us opening up these all the time. May be the wrong place to post this - feel free to move etc.
Lesley
I do frequently go along and mark them as sold etc. if it is obvious. It can be annoying if people don't come back to let us know though.
Mrs Frugal
I go along and delete any postings where the Eglu has been sold or an item has been taken but if there's been no further postings, it's difficult to know whether the item is still available or not. With the old set up, posts were automatically deleted after 2 weeks but some of the wanted adverts disappeared as well without ever finding an Eglu which was sad. I hope anyone advertising will keep us up to date about their situation so we can continue to remove out of date posts in that section as this makes things so much easier for the moderating team. Sheilaz
On the for sale and wanted boards there is never a follow up....quote] Well, I wouldn't say never, but I agree Susan, it would be great if outcomes were posted. I've often tried tidying the section & given up because the topic is hanging open unclear whether it is resolved or not. Sometimes I've even pm'd the original poster, but don't always get a response which is disheartening. So, I appreciate what your saying & hope that future posters will take note. We do like a happy ending and also, as you say, interested people know which ones are still available.
