Snowy
For those in the North West who like Art Deco, this will be somewhere to visit soon: http://www.midlandmorecambe.co.uk/ We lived in Morecambe in the early 90s and it was so sad to see such a beautiful building falling into disrepair. Can't wait until it reopens - I've promised myself that I will stay there one day!
One Man Banned
We've been watching that place for YEARS Snowy and vowed if we ever won the lottery we'd buy it. We went there a little before they started the work and it still looked magnificent even tho a little dilapidated. As soon as it opens, we'll be staying there perhaps we could arrange an Omlet meet there in the summer..... A xx

Snowy
I think it'll be fabulous when it's done and they've done so much work to pretty up Morecambe in the last few years. It's also a great base to visit the lakes from, with wonderful views across the bay. Our house there overlooked the bay with the lakes mountains in the distance! Richard
[That reminds me, my sister and her OH have just bought a 26 foot yacht and plan to moor it at the marina at The Albert Dock and live on it! Ought to be interesting! You only get one shot at it though so if she thinks she'll be happy, why not : It will be interesting! I had a 26 footer and I wouldn't want to live on it for more than a few days at a stretch. 26' is pretty small for a live-aboard. I might think about it if it got up to 40' or so - but even so its pretty cramped

She's already asked us to store the chemical toilet in our garage and my mum has been asked to store her summer clothes! It's only costing them about 5.5k so she might trade up when she realises! harveypup
We recently went to an Australian themed party for some friends who were emigrating, it was fab. Plenty of Kylie's, Crocodile Hunters and Sheila's Wheels etc. Myself, best friend Debs and colleague Emma ended up taking a 4 foot inflatable parrot clubbing afterwards, top night
