Jonny
Just wondered if anyone else thinks that the latch on the egg door doesn't seem particularly fox proof? I can twist the handle with one finger so I'm sure a fox could open it? I've read somewhere that they have opened latches and bolts to get at chickens? Cinnamon
Could they get up high enough to do that though, with nothing to grip on to?
craftyhunnypie
The egg port on the cube is quite wobbly, not a tight fit. But I presume it allows a bit of ventilation. My handle needs a good twist on the egg port tho. Emma.x
The Dogmother
Jonny, if you're worried, give Omlet a ring.
Jonny
It just needs a quarter of a turn - is that the same on everyone elses? Haven't had a look at it, maybe I can bend something out a little to make it tighter.
feemcg
Mine needs a half turn and kind of 'clunks' as it locks so I wouldn't have thought any animal could open it, especially at the height it's at (maybe if it was next to a wall or something of the same height?). MaggieMcHen
Mines the same as feemcg above. Maggie
