I also read "The Horse and His Boy" while most people were reading his other book "The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe" In fact, if a book had anything remotely to do with horses, I wanted it! Malory Towers - goodness,thats a blast from the past. I used to love those,along with the Silver Brumby books (I was a horsey girl!) Cinnamon, you are the first person I've ever met who has heard of the silver brumby series, let alone read them! I loved them! My youngest has just read 'Mrs Frisby & The rats of NIMH' which I read as a child & was enthralled by. OH suggested watching it and I was surprised as it's not really his sort of film. emu Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 Yeah was very sceptical for the first hour then pleasantly surprised- I saw a conglomeration of several films rolled into one with this film- a bit of narnia,Harry Potter,LOTR(golden compass not ring)to name but a few.
