Janty
Still very eagle like. Didn't realise until yesterday...hubby is petrified of them. He said that he was always very wary of the two that turned out to be boys.

Snowy
They are stunners Janty! Beautiful girls! They do look very eagle-ish don't they? Will they get combs eventually?

BeckyBoo
Wow Janty, they are FANTASTIC! I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to persuade OH that once we've got the ex-batts we could also fit in two Brahmas. What is the one in the top picture? I think she's absolutely beautfiul, and so enormous! How old are they, I read last night that they don't start laying til about 32 weeks or so. I can imagine why your OH was wary of the boys, I think they look very imposing!! Janty
The two new hens are about 25 - 30 weeks. They are POL so that 32 weeks would be about right. Brahma hens mature at about 6-7 months and cockerels at about 18 months.
