Guest
that charles bloke had his facts wrong, HFW said the industry recommended at least 30 mins darkness in a 24 hour period not an hour. However, I hope he does give his chickens the 6-8 hours he said he does. I do find it so very telling that not one 1 poultry farmer would allow HFW to film at their premises! There's a poultry farmer on the Jamie Oliver forum insisting he has nothing to hide so I've called his bluff and asked him if I could come and see his facility. I am prepared to follow this thru too! Anyone want to come with me, we could do a sort of Mark Thomas thing and hire a mini bus?

One Man Banned
I agree of sorts with the woman speaking just know who says eat meat twice a week if you need to. It stands to reason. Can't afford it - Can't buy it. Whatever happened to the days when having a chicken for Sunday lunch was a luxury A xx

Egluntyne
It was interesting to hear Hugh say that if people are encouraged to look for evidence that the chicken has had a better life such as looking for Freedom Food labels, that was a step in the right direction........
