ubereglu
Well I thought I'd hold a silent auction in aid for the BHWT as no one's done one recently and I thought it would be a good idea! So up for grabs is a selection of handmade recycled hens goodies. First of all there's a lovely apron, Here's a picture of the image on it up closer, Also up for grabs is a chicken soft toy, two egg cups and 2 egg cosies! The auction is for the WHOLE lot and all you have to do is PM me with your bid for the items and I'll let you know if your bid is too low and wether you've been outbid. So please get counting those pennies and PMing your bids as it's a really great cause! By the way, bidding closes at Midnight on Sunday 27th January. GET BIDDING!!! *Mods* Can you please turn this into an announcement or sticky please?

Mrs Frugal
Well done, Liz. I've made your topic into a sticky so it doesn't get lost .
Guest
hi liz, I did one a few weeks ago but my post got relegated to the 'free to a good home' forum so it got a bit lost! Still managed to raise a very generous donation for the BHWT by auctioning some Harrods choccie, not sure if the winning bidder would want me to say the amount so I won't. I'm not all that au fait with these silent auction things or what the rules are! Good luck and well done, hope you raise loads for the BHWT, they deserve every penny! Mrs Frugal
hi liz, I did one a few weeks ago but my post got relegated to the 'free to a good home' forum so it got a bit lost! That's because we didn't realise it was a BHWT silent auction when it first appeared on the forum, Poet. The post originally looked like you were just wanting to find a new home for the chocolate for a small donation made to the BHWT. Just to confirm the ettiquette Poet; yes, you're quite right, even a generous final bid stays silent. Well done on the chocs to you & the bidder.
