Pookylover
Hi, I brought mine from someone on Ebay. It was handmade in Devon. They are wonderful aren't they?!
superjules
Yum-yum's eggs aren't on there because they are small and fat (like little weebles) and fall through. Bossy's eggs just about fit, hers are a bit bigger, but they don't roll very well. I knew when I ordered it that the bantams' eggs weren't necessarily going to fit on there, but I've got 3 bantams and 5 hybrids, so which one to get was a bit of a no-brainer really. By the way - service was brilliant - really quick, I only posted my cheque last Friday and I got it today. I was expectingto have to wait for my cheque to clear at least. The person selling them on ebay is someone who purchased a joblot. They are all handmade in Devon by the same people. Now, shall I get a bantam version next month to go with it? I'll have to get rid of the slow cooker or the breadmaker to make room on the countertop!

They do look I love mine Janty, it's so much easier to keep the eggs in date order than before, when I had to re-sort them each time I used an egg! superjules
Mine's fab - I've been playing with it again today! I've also been clearing a kitchen cupboard today in order to put away some stuff which normally lives on the worktop to make room for a bantam one! Yum yum's eggs don't fit on the standard size one, being only 30g!
freddie
Never mind all that Blossom, the big oldstud tortoise has just woken up He's sat on my lap, wondering where he is at the mo, enjoying the warmth!! The kids are going to be so happy when they get home, as he's the best in Renewable pets
superjules
Aw, I bet it's like giving them a box of their old toys from the loft that they've not played with for ages! I love tortoises - I kept terrapins as a child, they're not in the same league, but my parents wouldn't fork out for a tortoise! Like the new website - I've decided that I won't place my order for a bantam skeleter until Bumble starts laying BTW! I have to restrict myself somehow! Mrs Frugal
I'm locking this topic now. We have a policy on advertising on the forum which we try very hard to adhere to but it's a very tricky line to walk. Initially this topic was posted by Krysia to tell us all about the new product she'd found which is fine as we have plenty of other topics on the latest Omlet forum "Must Have" but we have to be fair to the other forum members who have their own products to sell and as Freddie is now a forum member and has a website which has contact details and sales information for the Egg Skelter, the moderators and I feel that it's only fair to close this topic now as it could be seen as an advertising pitch for the Egg Skelter now. I hope you all understand our reasons for doing this and that we are only trying to be fair to the other entrepreneurs on the forum who we have had to discourage from talking about their business plans and mentioning their websites.
