Chicken deficient
I know the leaves are very poisonous for dogs and people, but I've heard that it is a good natural wormer for chickens. I think they are meant to be quite sensible about what they eat, and tend to avoid what is poisonous to them. Christian
Rhubarb leaves are poisonous but my hens haven't touched mine. Same goes for foxgloves which they shredded but didn't eat
Egluntyne
I understood that rhubarb leaves are poisonous to hens. They seem to know which plants to leave alone.
Chicken Licken
mine show no interest in the rhubarb whatsoever. It seems to come close to top of their list of things they are not interested in!
