MedusA
After 8 years of being together, my OH has never bought me flowers....until yesterday when this huge bouquet of a dozen red roses arrived. I was overwhelmed! The colour is deep velvety red, although it doesn't really show up in this pic. He did it to show me he can still surprise me after all this time. He succeeded! Guest
Chookiehubbie doesn't really 'do' Valentines Day - it has no real romantic meaning for either of us, but always remembers things like our Anniversary, but he did however surprise me with a shared bag of Walkers sensations (Spare rib and 5 spice - I've been craving them for ages..) and a humungous bar of chocolate. chickencam
It was hubby's birthday and we baked some scones for his work which he took in yesterday morning with some clotted cream and jam then he came home via our favourite deli with 2 lovely latte coffees and 2 pain au raisin. I had just finished making his cake and truffles so we had a lovely cuddly coffee break Mrs Bertie, my hubby had chicken pox about 7 years ago along with the children, he couldn't shave for about 2 weeks and looked really funny with a ginger speckled beard and spots, so I know what you are seeing . Hope he feels better soon.
