The Dogmother
Phil sneaked down to my house at 2am and left a bouquet of white tulips and a card just inside the front door. I also gto an anonymous e card that is making me laugh... still haven't found out who it's from
BeckyBoo
I haven't even got a card but that's because OH has chicken pox and normally does his shopping for anything the day before the event, now he looks like a cross between a pizza and a leper so he can't go out! I sent him a card though, I wrote, "My darling husband you drive me dotty, I love you even though you're spotty" He saw the funny side luckily! We were going out at the weekend with all the kids away at grannys but he won't be well enough so we'll rain check it til he's properly better Mrs Bertie
theherd123
I sent my OH a large helium balloon to work - i have done this every year for the passed 3 years. He works in an open plan office and i just do it to embarass him really! This year i sent a huge love monster with a flashing heart - when the box was delivered virtually the whole office crowded round to see what this years balloon was - he flushed - a lot! Tiggy
we got engaged on valentines day 12 years ago, on a skying holiday in Andora (no I still cant ski) I was there with OH & a group of lads, very cheap hotel & bubbly drunk out of mugs - no glasses anywhere - it was great. This year OH is away until Saturday night & I will be in plaster by then, so this year I just want lots of hugs & TLC
Cinnamon
Love the cookie. I got one for Hubby saying 'thanks for the hen pen', but they have stupidly done it half in lower case & half in cpitals,so it looks really odd Still, I expect it will taste OK

Oh my! poor you, good on them for giving you the goodies to cheer you up I like the dogs trust - they seem to care more for doggies than the RSPCA
lisa33
I like the dogs trust - they seem to care more for doggies than the RSPCA I agree but I stopped sponsoring a dog as I felt that too much money was wasted on sending Valentines cards, Christmas Cards, Birthday Cards etc. Now I just send cash donations every now & then. Shirl
Another supporter of the dogs trust here too. But I agree that I'd rather do straight forward donations rather than sponsoring.
