Snowy
I've been playing about with you tube and the video mode on my camera. Here is my first attempt - for anyone worried about how easy it is to get chickens back in the run after free ranging

feemcg
It's so funny when they come charging up to the door like that - then I feel really guilty when I'm only going out to the bin and don't have any treats

Ain't Nobody Here
That's brilliant (they obviously love you very very much ). I've got a small windchime at my back door (which is round the corner so they can't see it). They all crowd round the gate the minute they hear it . MedusA
Fabulous, Snowy! Only now I've spent the best part of an hour watching chicken videos on YouTube instead of getting on with all the work I need to do. I'm blaming you!

Milly
That's great! Mine come running up like that too, every time they hear the door open. I think that's why, when my father was chicken sitting for 4 days last year, he got through: 3 tins of sweetcorn, 1 large bag of raisins, and 3 tins of chick peas (he was opening anything he could find in the larder. , he felt sorry for them because they seemed so hungry). He is chicken sitting for a week next time - I hope I can make him understand they aren't really starving, just don't know when they have had enough.
