kazaddress
*plops big pot of char on the side* *lays out scones and hob"Ooops, word censored!"s* *fills up mugs with hot winter soup* *distributes hot water bottles* *makes self comfortable in the nest box, and waits for people to arrive*
Mrs Frugal
Oh yes please, Kaz. I've got a headache and could do with a hot water bottle, nice hearty soup, hob"Ooops, word censored!" or two and a sit down - not that I've done anything BUT sit down all day! Ought really to be the one making the cuppas rather than drinking them to earn my keep !
kazaddress
*fluffs up cushion for kate to perch on* so what have you been upto today? fancy some bread to dunk into your soup?
Mrs Frugal
Do you know, I'll admit to it, I've done very little today, Kaz. I've taken the boys to school for their progress review day, brought them back home again so they can play on their XBoxes rather than do their homework and hung up the washing and that's it ! I ought really to get my superpants in gear but that soup and crusty bread do look too nice to miss so I'll have a bowl then go and make some pudding, how's that? Ooooh, nice comfy chair.... ....scrummy soup! *slurp*
Guest
can I perch down on that little wooden milking stool over there? I've been in school all day teaching the year fives bible stories - we did the story of the ten lepers today - and it turned into a leprosy masterclass! Please sir - what happens if you get shot with a gun and you've got leprosy - can you feel it?? Please sir - would you feel it if someone cut you in half? so I need a cuppa and a hob "Ooops, word censored!"! I hope you're feeling slightly more together after the trauma of the break-in... Funny I've had a terrible headache this afternoon like Kate, must be the miserable weather. I work from home and should be doing the accounts but I'd much rather join your little tea party instead thank you for asking p.s. sorry to hear about your bad news hope you are getting over the terrible experience (big cyber hug)
