hillfamily
wise words of wisdom there Kate I have to say that I did wonder if the piano pic would be too much in an avatar - you would lose detail when the picture is shrink to fit an avatar. I could always take another photo of just the piano...............but then I like the garden pic............I'll have to sleep on it
hillfamily
You use one of those gif animator thingummy bob wotsist. I'll have a bash if you like. Guest
An alternating avatar would be fun Pam! I can see a rather large Omlet band coming on! My family can offer flute, oboe, violin, piano, guitars, recorders of any size and (not sure how well it would fit) a French Horn. DD1 is learning the Double Bass too but she hasn't got one of her own. DD2's violin is WHITE. We bought it from Rainbow Violins and she specifically wanted white. Apparently white ones are only sold in America so hers is quite special. Your groovy piano reminded me of it! If you want a singer, can it be me please??? I quite fancy trying a bit of jazz singing. Scooby
As a piano player myself, my vote has to be Piano!

Guest
Isn't Omlet cool enough for a Band name? Recorders are such fun - you must definitely ask! We have sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders of varying age and quality! Every year we enter the local Music Festival in the Family Recorder Ensemble class. It's good fun! Couperman
I voted Piano too! And for those who are interested here is a picture of Cathy's new guitar currently out of stock but hopefully here soon. I think it's beautiful and I know it will play like a dream. It will be nice to get my own guitar back which is nowhere near as nice, but it is a very good friend of mine. Kev.
Lesley
If it's any help Pam....... I can actually only see the piano one........even with my reading glasses on I like the colours on the garden one though - whatever those coloured shapes may be
MedusA
I guess I'm in the minority as I prefer the garden pic. I have nothing against music - my OH plays guitar and my daughter piano. Maybe I just have Music-Room-envy as our piano is tucked under the stairs in the hall. Sorry, but I just luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurve the purple parasol thingy. ubereglu
Can I come over too Pam? I can play the keyboard and descant and treble recorder-though I'd have to bring my books with me, as I'm a bit rusty! I'll bring round my take that music book too, (currently loaned to me) and play a few tunes!!!
