For the first time in ages I have had a proper shower, not the usual quickie, have carefully applied my make up and dried my hair properly. I almost don't recognise myself! MIL and FIL have the boys until Monday. I was a grown-up again, it's astonishing to think that some people are grown ups all the time and they get to ready without being talked at through the bathroom door, they get to put their make-up on at their own pace instead of in the car when they've run out of time having got everyone else ready first. In fact that was two weeks ago and I'm having only my second alcoholic drink since then - one bottle of stella lager, haven't been able to face it before!
