I am currently making a lot of flapjacks to feed my hungry brood. (Full story: we're being vegan for 7 weeks and so can't have cake). But I have yet to perfect a recipe. Mine always seem to stay too moist and fall apart.

 

Has anyone got a fool-proof, no-eggs, no-nuts recipe?

-dark sugar

-sunflowerseeds

-oats

-dates

-apricots

-saltanas

-1 orange (juice and peel)

-1/2 lemon

 

 

when i pour it into the tray, score it into 2.5 inch squares.. and place a pecan nut on top

lol. erm.. a hanfull each of everything.. 4 tbls of syrup

 

couple of handfulls of sugar

couple of tbls of honey...

add a splash of water

2 big k"Ooops, word censored!"s of butter

and keep adding oats till its stops being runny

We dont have flapjacks as Paul is coelliac so doesnt eat oats.
