feemcg
One of my Exchequer Leghorn chicks was much smaller at hatch, not eating/drinking and at one point gasping, so I thought he wouldn't make it. However he is still here 2 weeks later. He has hardly grown in size since hatch. I took some photos a few days ago to show the difference, but it's getting more and more each day. I was thinking I could just get a budgie cage and keep him in the sitting room (only kidding!).

hillfamily
He's a cutie Fee but don't let my Charlie see.......she's desparate to raise a chook from a day old chick
feemcg
Thanks, he is a wee cutie, but I don't know what I'll do if he doesn't grow - I doubt he'll be able to got out to the growers' run next week with the others. I might keep him inside with one to keep him company until he catches up a bit - if he ever does

feemcg
Of course I'm just assuming he's a he - being a bit of a wimp getting out the shell, needing extra attention etc.
