missuscluck Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 We have got one of those wooden pot maker things but to be honest you can do them yourself. I have got lots of seeds on the go in mine and the only small problem I have had is them going a bit mouldy when I use them in a heated propogator. fluffymuppet Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 The secret to getting rid of the mould is to water your seedlings with a weak solution of (cold!) chamomile tea. I generally use one tea bag in a litre of water. Chamomile has anti-fungal properties, and works against the damping off fungus that kills seedlings, too. That is the clearest picture I've ever seen of how to make the pots, I reckon even I will be able to do that (after several attempts!). I didn't know that about chamomile tea - that's amazing.
