Stoat killed hens asleep in the Eglu

[Janty]

I thought that they were really sweet.

Sorry about the size of the photo...Photobucket won't let me change the size. It keeps shutting down when I try.

edit - Christian- done for you Janty

Can you bring yourself to eat them? What a lovely present.

[Janty]

No, I couldn't eat them. Funny thing is that although I am sure that Dad has forgotten, when I was a child, Mum and Dad used to buy me all sorts of chocolate hens for Easter (I always have had a thing about chickens) and I couldn't bring myself to eat them then either.

Nothing wrong with having a chocolate hen collection - just dont display them on the mantlepiece!!

They do look cute

Lovely Easter Pressie

I brought my DD a marzipan mouse once and she didn't eat it - it sat in her bedroom for months until I finally had to insist that it was becoming a health hazard

[chelsea]

they are lovely but I wouldnt be able to bring myself to bite their heads off!!

I was in 2 minds whether to throw out the tiny little chick that came on top my easter chocolate cake (as it was cute) but I finally plucked up the courage to throw it in the bin!!

Lovely.....if you can't bring yourself to eat them....I'd like to volunteer for the job.

[superjules]

Mmmmm, they look tasty!

[Janty]

John bought me this. It is harriet the clucking chicken from Lakeland. You push her head down and she lays an egg, raises her wings and clucks several times.

[Janty]

Ahhh! My coffee machines look splashed and mucky...off to wipe them down.

My children got one of the clucky hens each from the out-laws! They're great!
