Tiggy
I've only had my 3 gingenut rangers since Friday and because I still had a suviving ex bat the pecking order was sorted quickly and they learned where food & bed was so I let them out onto my netted off area of grass this afternoon, Saffy soon herded them back in when I wanted them to go home, but Patsy and Edina managed to get ontop of my eglu run by climbing up the weldmesh & then launching themselves off to the ground, they did this lots of times they seemed to enjoy themselves/
Christian
A couple of mine do this every now and then. They sort of step up to the edge of the run and tentatively launch themselves off, making a lot of noise and much flapping of wings! Glad they are settling in ok
chelsea
I think some chickens like the feeling that they are "flying" ours do it quite often
Janty
Mrs. Beeton is our resident high flyer. She jumps up on top of one cube, walks along to the edge and jumps over to the other cube. She does this over and over again as if to show off to the others....no-one else has managed it.
superjules
"I believe I can fly!" Some of mine almost can - my skylines in particular.
TAJ
Yes mine get up there - one did manage to launch herself over the Omlet netting from the highest point on the run! Here's all three of mine on the roof together. Tracy
