Lovely - there are no allotments close to us - enjoy. We did try, but travelling was a pain, plus I put my back out fighting the weeds, so had to stop after 2 years - then our garden got out of hand because I was spending so much time at the allotment. Great bunch of people and mines of information. A couple of great allotment blogs that I find very inspiring are:

After looking at Tim and Lukes site I went and finished harvesting last years leeks which were going to seed, now all washed and chopped and in the freezer for making soup later. Then quickly dug over the section and it is all ready for the stuff queuing to leave the greenhouse!
