We did try, but travelling was a pain, plus I put my back out fighting the weeds, so had to stop after 2 years - then our garden got out of hand because I was spending so much time at the allotment. Great bunch of people and mines of information. A couple of great allotment blogs that I find very inspiring are: Beryl Saunders Allotment: http://www.saundersallotment.co.uk/index.html and a site from the Home Farmer mag which is very funny with quite a few video clips: http://www.weeditandreap.co.uk After looking at Tim and Lukes site I went and finished harvesting last years leeks which were going to seed, now all washed and chopped and in the freezer for making soup later.
