WHEN CAN A RABBIT GET PRENANT?

Recommended Posts

Males reach puberty before females, typically between 12-16 weeks of age. Have a look between his legs - when he reaches puberty, his testicles will descend into the scrotum. He'll also start showing adult behaviours - eg scent-marking or mounting the female. As soon as his testicles are there, you must have him castrated. Females typically don't become sexually mature until four months of age so you have a bit of a window, but if she's an early developer there could be a chance of pregnancy.
