Eyren
Sorry to hear that Have they perhaps gone to shelter somewhere and not been able to find their way home? AFAIK, chickens don't have a great sense of direction. Maybe you could leaflet the area and go looking for them?
Tina C
No advice really - just wanted to say sorry to hear your news. Keep your lone chicken safely tucked up tonight and fingers crossed the others will find their way home tomorrow.
Egluntyne
Sorry to hear the news. Could you ask neighbours if you could look in their gardens? They could be disorientated and hiding in shrubs. Best of luck in finding them. Let us know how you get on....and welcome to the forum.....sorry your first post is a difficult one.
Ain't Nobody Here
Sorry to hear this, Lynne . I hope you find them soon. I know others have lost chickens only to find them later so hopefully you will too . I would ask around as much as possible - surely 2 hens and a cockeral would soon be spotted. Olly
Any news? I'd hope that they all stuck together and sheltered somewhere. Surely the cockerel should make his presence known in the morning?
MedusA
So sorry to hear this. I do hope your girls and cockrel turn up safe and sound. We're they locked in? Could someone have got in and taken them? It's very mystifying. *fingers crossed* you find them.
druids57
I was going to say too that if you got up early and walked around locally and they were shut in or lost surely you would hear the cockeral Good Luck in finding them Druid
