The garden yesterday was full of flies but there wasn't even one in the walk in run! Obviously it's us that smells not the chickens

 

I used the citronella as recommended on here by Hen Watch. What a fab company - ordered Tuesday arrived Wednesday! Smells lovely and seems to work.

I ordered 4 Flitraps ( good for stables too!) yesterday after reading this and another flitrap thread with advice from Egluntine..

 

Have a email this morning asking who recommended.. so thought it should be Poet or Egluntine based on the two main threads.. if one of you pm me with details I'll pas them on as sounds like you may get a "thank you" from them!

I have a squirty bottle with a couple of drops of citronella and also a couple of drops of tea tree oil in it. I squirt it around the run and it seems to do the trick to me.
