susiepoos
OMG Went to Grizedale Forest on Saturday with some friends from work and my youngest son and his friend. Don't know if any of you have done Go Ape before but it's a great day out but a flippin scary one I'm all for a challenge but being 70ft up in a tree and being asked to walk a tightrope is pure madness - OH doesn't like heights so he didn't join in just watched but then again my son doesn't like heights and he had a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ached everywhere yesterday but it's just my arms today - bit of a wake up call really as it's proven to me that I need to get some weight off but overall it was a great day and well worth the money and we did have a laugh - well everyone laughed at me http://www.goape.co.uk/
Lesley
Sounds great!!!! - but I think I'll give it a miss. I don't mind heights but don't fancy hauling my Eglubum up that high

The Dogmother
Me too, I get dizzy wearing thick socks!
Fabergé
I've done the one at Bracknell. Shaking with fear before I started but very proud of myself after I managed to get all the way around. Love to do it again.
Ziggy
Ooooh... we did something like that in France once (well the girls and OH did, I too get dizzy just looking out of the first floor window), and the girls would love to do it again... I'll look into these, I didn't know there were some locations in the UK... I do presume that people are attached to something while tiptoe-ing, shimmying and generally going round between trees? MedusA
I would love it! I like all that kind of stuff, even if my balance isn't what it was. Grizedale Forest is beautiful too. I haven't been there for years, but I bet it's still as gorgeous. Edited for silly typo
