hillfamily
..........everyone else finding that there are just not enough hours in the day at the mo I seem to be running around like a headless chook at the mo, trying to do everything and not seeming to get far which is unlike me as I'm normally on top of everything - I'm making sure that for a while I'm not doing anything that isn't essential so I can try to catch up but I still feel absolutely shattered (mind you my sleep pattern is all over the place so that doesn't help) and feel a little bit as though I'm drowning It seems to have been really bad the past 2 -3 weeks (and has even affected my forum time ) ........... hopefully it will pass soon Cheery thoughts needed
crazygal
Oh dear. I tend to find that "things" always happen at the same time, so I'll have a manic few weeks, then things will quieten down... hopefully that will happen for you soon! Does it help that its nearly the weekend or does that mean more busy busy?

chelsea
Pam, spare yourself half an hour, get a large cup of coffee (or glass of wine) a big cake and go and sit in the garden with your chooks for a bit. whenever I feel down, tired or stressed - half an hour of watching chook antics and Im revitalised! xx
Laura & CTB
What is it that you need to do thats so important Pam?? I find when I feel overwhelmed that it helps to make a list of priorities - the things I absolutely have to get done and those that could maybe wait a while. Your peace and wellbeing is the most important thing at any time - just remember you have to come first or nothing is going to get done anyway!!! Cate in NZ
Oh, Pam, I know just what you mean . I do hope things calm down for you very soon, but somehow it seems that everything just happens at once. Writing lists and sorting priorities sometimes helps.... may be worth a try , but sometimes everything simply does just need doing yesterday and then the whole thing turns to madness . I'm going through a bit of the same, just hanging on grimly, and trying to work my way through it, hopefully with a smile forced onto my face and hanging onto the fact that in 22 days it'll all be done and dusted and I'll be bored senseless with nothing to do except endure a 30 hour flight Good luck to you..... I hope that things calm down for you again very soon
Mrs Webmuppet
My entire life consists of rushing around and lists. The perils of being a shift working Mum ( head cook, housekeeper, head gardener..............) and then the OH has the audacity to say oh you look tired! And on top of all my normal chores we are off for two weeks sailing in 8 weeks...........so now I have to go thro' all the kit and clothes to make sure it's all in working order and in the case of Little Miss Webmuppet, still fits. All this whilst trying to learn what apears to be a tricky piece of music on the piano ( ok so its probably quite easy but I've only just started learning). Guest
I understand Pam! Life has conspired against me over the last 3 weeks too. I am so behind with my work, it's half term so all the children are at home and today I have spent the WHOLE day at the hospital with my mother. She is fine now and home again and I'm not complaining, but I still haven't done the work I need to do. And the school shoes I planned to buy this morning will have to be bought tomorrow, mucking up those plans too and I didn't get to the Farmers' Market either. Somehow though, we will get through all these things. It's just how long the pressure goes on for isn't it? In the end I need to collapse and do nothing and probably miss the one thing I was looking forward to!
