Swiss Chick
5 francs per tooth, equals about 2£
Cate in NZ
£2.20 You're obviously a lot more generous in Switzerland. Our local, and quite clearly skinflint tooth fairy paid out £1 on a good day, or whatever coppers she could rake together on the bad (ie no advance wobbly tooth alerts) Fortunately I think that all my family's teeth that are intended to come out have done so now, so our tooth fairy is sadly redundant. The Dogmother
I used to get a silver sixpence, but that shows my age Rosie and I look after an old lady who lives a few doors down - just fetch her shopping and chat to her - she gives Rosie money to buy books with, which is really appreciated
Martin B
That's kind!
The Dogmother
She's a really lovely lady and very independent like me. Her children (who all live far away) want her to go into a home. I hope that our help will help to keep her independent and in her own house. She has a lovely long haired dachshund, who loves Rosie. Popcorn
Sounds lovely Clare. It's nice to be involved in the community somehow isn't it! My toothfairy used to leave a shiny ten pence....I think I was done! I should have had at least 20p if the going rate is £1 these days! Where's Annie disappeared to?
