chelsea
I bet the person who sold it to you for £70 is kicking themselves! You should take a photo of it showing all your hard work and send it to them - just to rub it in!!

Egluntyne
just to rub it in!! Like the oil! It looks fab Snowy. All it needs now is some patchwork chicken fabric seat covers and half a dozen Omleteers round it.
chelsea
just to rub it in!! All it needs now is some patchwork chicken fabric seat covers and half a dozen Omleteers round it. yes that would look fab! OR you could do all the cushions and make a table cloth and place mats and then bung it all back on ebay and make a small fortune!

Snowy
What are you lot like! I don't have time to make myself a bag let alone a full set of seat covers, tablecloth and placemats But I could manage an Omlet tea party ... always time to socialise But I've no oil left and have a serious case of RSI in my right arm after sanding it for 4 hours solid on Tuesday So no more restorations for a while (until the next bargain appears on ebay )

Jules.
It looks great. I am as I freecycled my old ( 4 years old) hardwood patio set about a month ago as the wood was looking awful, having been left outside all that time & only oiled once I didn't realise I could have cleaned it all up- next time I'll ask on here.
