Cinnamon
We were woken at 6.30 this morning by a big old thunderstorm & torrential rain. The first bang was really loud - it woke me with a real start I HATE thunder & lightning, although when I am awake I can predict when a storm is coming as I get my thunder headache The hens were all huddled together in the middle of their pen, looking a bit worried, but still nice & dry Its still raining now,but very, very warm out

Guest
Loud thunder and very heavy rain here too! And we had fireworks last night, so lots of bangs here! With no heating on, how am I going to get all my washing dry?
Paola
My girls were not impressed this morning. When I went out this morning in the pouring rain to open the eglu door, "Ooops, word censored!"ody came out. Had a look in the eglu and they did not look at all happy. Who can blame them. We had a little thunder and lightning also

Guest
They're mine, all mine!!!!!!!!!!! Chookiehubbie is less than impressed, pointing out that I'm meant to be on a diet, and a couple of grand would have been a far better prize for a competition... Guest
I never thought of that! I told the boys this morning at breakfast time, they are delighted, although the poor postman wasn't when they went bounding down the path to see if he had a big parcel full of chocolate for us - think he preferred it when the dog used to lick his fingers through the letter box!
