Imo
hello! Haven't been on much lately as work seems to have taken over a bit, but was out in the garden yesterday catching the sunshine and managed to grab a hold of Queeny (she isn't the cuddliest of chickens). She's no skinny minny
ubereglu
Starlet, one of my bluebelles is just the same! We got her and she came to about the mid size between Muddles and Henrietta, however I'm certain she has grown whilst we've had her as she is the biggest of the lot now! BeckyBoo
She certainly doesn't look too impressed!! Lovely looking hen though Mrs B
Rhapsody
She looks so much like my Bizmillah- a Bluebelle with an orange front! Biz is a gigantic 'big boned' hen too...

Imo
I just can't get over how heavy she is She makes poor Vivienne look pretty teeny in comparison!! Maybe bluebelle's are just a naturally larger breed?
Katie
I think they are. My friends blubelle is massive too!
Roxanne
What a wonderful sized chicken! I find my biggest, fattest hens lay the smallest eggs. Sometimes they are only 55grams and the ex batts can lay 75-95 gram eggs almost on a daily basis. Anyone else find this?
Pinkybijou
What a handsome chook! My two are teeny in comparison. Doris is barely bigger than a pigeon when you hold her feathers down - very small for a Welsummer. Dora looks bigger cos she's a big fluffy mumsy looking Wyandotte, but she's still a tiny chook compared to yours!
beach chick
I think she's about the same size as my bluebell - but I think you are a lot smaller than me!!!!!!!
Imo
Queeny isn't a big layer - I think her biggest was around 60g, which isn't very impressive for her size!! Vivienne always lays the bigger eggs
Rhapsody
Snap! Bizmillah is the fattest glossiest chook with the softest feathers but her eggs are bantam sized.
