Oh wow, well done! We wanted to see him last year in Birmingham but he cancelled for health reasons :? Must admit, having seen footage of his other recent shows on youtube, he hasn't really got it any more, voice is terrible. But I'd still love to see him - wouldn't like to think I'd paid good money for it though :lol: Maybe you've got the best deal there! Why not have a look on youtube - will give you an idea of his current ability. :D

I am soooo :mrgreen: also. Booked to see him twice in the last few years and his ill health has scuppered it.

 

Have seen him 3 times in concert (once a decade i guess since the eighties!!)

 

He is truly amazing in concert, a brilliant performer, you wont regret it.

I am a little green with envy too - I love Meatloaf's music.

I went to see Bon Jovi on 19th June and they were brilliant. On 14th July I'll be going to Cardiff to see Thunder, Def Leppard and Whitesnake. REALLY looking forward to it. Tell me, am I showing my age here?

I'm sure Meatloaf wouldn't schedule more concerts if he didn't feel up to it, cancelling is the last thing these old rockers want to do - they're usually very loyal to their fans. Enjoy!

Oooh, I want to go now :( We got all the way to the last concert he cancelled and they literally turned us around at the door. Especially miffed as it was for son's 16th birthday. I'd still love to see him but really don't want to be disappointed! :?

I loved one of the last videos for a song ("I would do anything for love . . .") - he was on a chair and they wheeled him across the set - it was so funny and yet so uncool for the gothy image for the rest of the song! I howled with laughter, but I don't think that was the reaction they wanted! :lol:

I gather he has recently had a throat operation, so that may have been why the show was cancelled. I would love to see him live. In fact the only concert I have been to was Cliff Richard, and I was holding a friend's hand because another friend had dropped out.
