Humph, I had to s"Ooops, word censored!"e ice off the car this morning

Most of my Christmas shopping is already done and left with MIL to distribute in December...........and whilst you're all shivering around your turkeys in December I'll be barbecuing mine on the beach

 

That said 40 *ahem* years on this planet......and suddenly I'm looking at my first ever winter birthday.....Jeff wants to take us all skiing that weekend for my birthday "celebration"

I hadn't even thought about that aspect of emigrating to NZ! Our birthdays are all the end of the year so the boys have never had things like bikes or other outdoor toys for birthdays, they would hardly get used That's it, we'll have to emigrate - I'd love a summer birthday!

I have a special wicker trunk that I put all my stored up prezzies in. I tend to buy things as and when I find them. It's almost like Christmas again for me, just looking through them all later in the year!

Same here. A large holdall that has a lock

Every year I say im going to start my xmas shopping early and every year im doing in the last week

 

I reckon that the gifts you organised guys pick up as you go along in the year are more thoughtful than mine as well as you are probably thinking of someone when you see a gift that they will love rather than do what I do and think of someone and then rush and grab something/anything that I think they will like - if that makes sense

 

I suddenly feel like a very bad person and cant believe im talking about CHRISTMAS

If its the first thing you say whe you wake up apparently you will be bestowed with loads of gifts that month.

 

Just to be a wet Lemon though it's never worked for me !
