BeckyBoo Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Hello, just catching up on forum stuff at the end of my 40th birthday, and saw all the birthday wishes on the celebration page, thank-you everyone. I've had a lovely day, started with cards and pressies from OH and the children, BIG bottle of perfume, chalk "notice board" with chickens on for the kitchen, chicken china biscuit barrel, chicken sitting on a pig picture, cockerel egg cup and chicken book ends! Then was on the second day of a two day course at work (hate courses ) but it was dress down day (we hardly EVER have them and I'm normally not working them) and it was test day, but having started work at 0830, managed to finish by 1015 AND score 93% into the bargain! Then off to buy some chook stuff, home to clean them out, then lunch with Mum and smallest boy, walked the dog, collected the girls from school then pressies from Mum and Dad - Mum bought me a lovely Trachylospermum Jasminoides (don't know the common name but wanted one for AGES) and some jewellery and a BIG white buddha statue for the garden, Dad got me a lovely silver and amber ring I'd chosen last time we went shopping. Then took the children to the pub to meet OH for a drink, got soaked in the torrential rain then off to buy the Chinese and home for dinner with OH, my lovely children and my Dad. Have now just about finished tidying up, am drinking glass of pink fizz and have had a really nice lovely day. Got that nice fuzzy, cosy feeling! Tomorrow is another big day as it's OH's live music event on the green so he'll be up and out at the crack of dawn, probably won't see him all day long, but 7 live bands coming and we're all praying for sunshine!
