Recommended Posts

Sorry, I can't help, can't remember the book at all, but I'll bet that someone on here will know :D (there's a wide range of knowledge on the most bizarre topics imagineable to be found on this forum :lol::lol::lol: ).

Good luck, I hope that worrying about the pixie's name doesn't keep you awake tonight

I have this funny feeling its something like 'Scampy' or 'Skimpy' or 'Silky' or something :? . I think it might have that "imp" sound in it though. I might just go out and buy it  . When you Google it - you get a great long list of Enid Blyton books - but doesnt say the lil pixies blimmin' name :( . Thanks for looking though :)

I seem to remember that Silky was in "the magic faraway tree"

I loved (and still love) Enid Blyton :D

one of my happiest memories when my daughters were young is of reading them the magic faraway tree books - I loved them as a child and it was amazing to realise how strong the images and stories still were in my mind! :D can't help with the question though, sorry... :?

Sorry, I never read The Wishing Feather. :(

I absolutely loved the Enchanted Wood/Magic Faraway Tree books. I used to think that I could talk to trees if I tried hard enough. I was desperate to have a go on the Slippery Slip too. I think the old Saucepan Man was my favourite character.
