You should ring Omlet next week and ask them: we can only guess.

Spring and summer are their busiest times, so there will certainly be a wait. But if you are not fussy about colour, they may be able to get one to you more quickly if there is a sudden cancellation.

The fact that you are in Cornwall might make it faster, as it will come by courier and will not have to wait for a space on the Omlet van.

Mine will be exactly 6 weeks from when I ordered it to when it arrives.

Give them a ring on Monday and put your mind at rest, they are very helpful people and you don't have to commit there and then on the phone. I thought about it for a little while and then ordered it.

After months of thinking about it I ordered my cube a couple of weeks ago and was told 6 weeks for delivery. I asked about various options in the hope of getting it sooner, but was told it wouldn't make much difference whether I had it delivered by Omlet or by courier as they could fit me in at the same time. And colour didn't make a difference, as they make them the week before delivery.

We are also in Cornwall, and ordered a cube about 3 weeks ago and were told September for delivery.

After reading a post on this forum I called recently and asked if there were any cancelations and they said YES and so it is coming next week. Apparently the green being most popular is easier to get a cancellation spot.

Call them regularly I say!!

Good luck

Where are you in Cornwall?

Hi Laura - we are in Penryn. You are very welcome to come and see our cube once it arrives (I am very excited). We have chicks due this weekend as well - I candled them and all 8 have chicks with movement on day 17 - so hopefully we should get a good quantity survive.

email me if you want to come down and see.

edit I have removed the email address from this post, best to use PM for email addresses - Christian - you will have to amend this - trying to avoid spam.

Ordered my cube yesterday, and was given a date of 17th September.

Im going to pick it up, not too sure if I trust nightfreight, as I live out

of omlets delivery area.

I will keep on ringing up to see if there is a cancellation, not sure if

that applies to non delivery cubes.

Ive ordered purple, if you order a popular colour I suppose theres more chance of a cancellation.
