stoice
Just working out how to load up pics on here correctly. Hopefully this is right. Found a few pics of the ex-batts we rescued in April (My mum has taken a few since, I now only have Gladys and Babs with two POLs Mabel and Betty) Will put pics up of Betty and Mabel when I have them but for now I thought you'd like to see the girls on the day they arrived at their new des-res. I don't have an eglu or cube but my OH (In one pic with my Mum and MIL) and my Dad helped convert part of our shed. I find it useful to store all their chickeny bits too. Can't believe how much the girls have blossomed. They looked so pale and bald (Ok Babs is still bald really but I won't tell her everyone can see through her knickers if you won't!) Inbetween all the squabbles and botty pecking I've encountered, they really are a joy to have around. The eggs are just a bonus. Mum, MIL, OH with me in the run First time she'd seen toes! Out of focus but such a funny shot First sunbathe - with baldy botty! Edited July 19, 2008 by Guest
Janty
They are lovely photos of your girls. Mine have a thing about toes. They peck really hard when I have my sandals on.
Gamebird
Aw Bless. It's amazing how they seem to take everything in their stride. Chickens are such trusting creatures. Lovely photos of happy birds.
