I was impressed witht the box as well, as far as the melon, I can't be sure as all traces of it had disappeared by the time they got to me. I want to believe they were just VERY hungry, during thier travels.

Actually on Wednesday when I was expecting them the weather couldn't have been more beautiful, sunny, with a nice breeze, not too hot or humid.

Yesterday (the day they arrived) a complete turn around. During the day while at work it was quite muggy and sticky. I was home from work for maybe 5 minutes sitting with the girls and the sky opened and it poured...........I just sat in my chair watching the girls getting soaked, but I didn't care

Thank goodness we can all relax. I've been reading this thread since it started and have been really anxious for you and your girls. I's so pleased things have turned out OK and the pictures are great.

Glad there safe and well. l spend alot of time watching mine in the garden there always so interesting to watch running around the garden with the odd worm.I have 6 only 5 lay eggs and they live with a call boy duck Anyway happy watching and its so nice to have people enjoying chooks all over the world.

Thanks everybody!!! I get to spend the whole weekend working around the yard and watching the girls...I tried feeding them cantalope melon last night with no success (must be tired of melon as supposedly melon is placed in the box they were shipped in).
