superjules Posted August 3, 2008 Author Share Posted August 3, 2008 Gallina, his wattles started to show at 3 weeks and he's noticably bigger than our other chick, (I'll take some more pics to show you the difference), but also his behaviour is very boyish. He was more upright from an early age and he squared up to the dog from about 6 weeks. He also has started doing that food dropping thing that boys do. When he finds a tasty morsel he drops it and calls the girls over to eat first. And who said chivalry was dead?! I think pekins can be quite precocious, making it a lot easier to see gender differences early on than with some other breeds, such as silkies.
