rachel m
my young light sussex cockerel (who is going to his new home very soon) has been losing quite a lot of feathers in the past few weeks. i had been collecting the feathers to make something, as they were realy pretty and white. so i made this fascinator to wear to a wedding a couple of days ago. it cost about £5-6 for the alice band and beads and ribbon, but all the ones in the shops were £20+. so at least i got something nice from the cockerel! Snowy
Fabulous - what a good idea! That is so pretty I used Bella's tail feathers in Robin Hood hats that I made for the boys!

The Dogmother
Very clever and you can look very smug, going to a wedding with bits of a cockerel's bum on your head Don't worry, we won't tell on you... but will you own up if anyone asks? A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Brilliant! If you were American, you could call it a cockerel fanny-scinator (fanny being American for 'bum')!
