Peachy77
Question in the title really - he he he! found somewhere 3 minutes away that does easibed. Will this be ok in the cube run now that the girls have destroyed the grass!
Clur
Hi, Easibed is similar to Hemcore and Auboise (I believe). Some people on the forums use it with no problems, though I've never seen it.
toastedblue
I use Easibed, it's very good although the fine stuff is more absorbent than the course I tend just to buy whatever is available at the time it's about £7.50 a bail
jomaxsmith
I've got some this time round as it was £1 cheaper per bale than my usual Aubiose. It is a wood based product rather than hemp and smells just like a sawmill! It is basically very fine woodchip (not as fine as shavings though). It doesn't have quite the same magic poo disappearing properties as aubiose but is ok. I've got it in the run (which is mainly covered) and in the nest box and poo tray. I'm undecided whether to stick with it - it's very good but the poos that get in the nest box aren't desiccated as well as they are with aubiose Jo
Peachy77
Does it matter if it gets wet, as the cube run isnt covered.
dancing cloud
I have easibed when I can't get hold of aubiose and agree with jomaxsmith. Easibed is perfectly adequate, but aubiose is better if you can get it. Both will get wet in an uncovered run, so you may want to use the Cube run cover to protect the bedding. My Cube is under a carport, so largely stays dry (unless the yard floods in the monsoons). I also have a cheap tarp to drape over the Cube and run to protect from horizontal rain (of which there seems to be far too much!) Hope this helps
quickcluck
I use easibed with no probs. My cube is covered with a good old ikea shower curtain!
