GEB
After 4 months of laying normal size eggs and only a couple of days off yesterday one of the girls laid a tiny malteaser size egg. Is there anything I could of done to cause this, should I worry or do you think it'll just be a blip? Thanks.
AJuff
One of my hens did this. A bit of a blip in the egg laying department. She laid two which were a great source of amusement to the kids. She has returned to laying normal eggs now. You should definately weigh it as it may get to go on the small egg leader board! What to do with it is a different matter? Too small to eat? GEB
Thanks you've put my mind at rest. I have to admit, it did make me laugh when I found it. I wonder if it will be normal inside?
