buffie
Well I thought I'd post this as I know Kaz has missed stickies but hope you've all seen Kates sticky about the Omlet summer do on the 19th of Aug. If you can come 'we'll love to see you' so please let us know and you will be added to the list! Now I have been asked about a raffle for the BHWT so if you want a raffle then we'll have one If you can think of something that fits the bill then that's just great, bring it along. No LSH's please The BHWT believes it's crucial that we are known for 'Hen Welfare' so we don't do lots of novelty pens, mugs etc but we do some clothing so I will take orders at the do and sell some lovely cards and have a collection box. No hard sell so grab me if you want to order or buy something! Thanks BBx Edited August 20, 2006 by Guest
PurpleHen
I think I'll "borrow" some of my Mum's homemade marmalade for the raffle, it will be orange and grapefruit if she has any left...
buffie
Lovely.. .What I'll do is put some items together as a prize with a similar theme and value, that's what worked well last time. BBx

chocchick
That's very generous Mel Maybe you could hide him in "mystery box" where people don't know what they are winning..... I've got to get a taxi in Sheffield at 6.30 the next day, and think it may be too much (for poor OH to drive) to drive there and back in one day and THEN stay awake for 5 days of dullest dull conference. buffie
Right Sleeves rolled up..... The official Omlet do will have a BHWT raffle so I'm getting an early start asking you to bring raffle prizes please. Anything you like, we had wine, chocolates, books, candles, fresh produce, clothing oh and lots of men pants So really anything you think would be a nice prize. Please remember that this is not a gathering for just the 'old timers'of the forum but anyone new or old. It's a chance for you to all meet each other, donate to a great cause and buy some bits from the Omlet shop (no postage!!! ) so a glass of wine and a tin of poultry spice...what more could you want...... perhaps a sing a long...details to confirm soon8) Add your name to the list if it's not already on it (details in the Omlet do thread here http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5423) and look forward to seeing you there.
